Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr is a mouthful to say, but their music is simply Dance Your Ass Off Fun. They shouldn’t change their name to THAT, though. It’s not any better.
Yesterday I got new headphones, which my most trusted friend, Internet, had told me were really awesome. So I was super stoked to listen to some good music. Lucky for me, I put on “If You Didn’t See Me (Then You Weren’t On The Dance Floor)” – these guys are killing the long names game – and, boy, oh boy. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. made my headphones worth every single penny.
It’s Saturday, right? How fortuitous, cause “If You Didn’t See Me” is a Saturday night dance track. Its shimmering melodies, crystalline harmonies, and whip-crack beats take you to sonic ecstasy. Okay, that’s a bit over dramatic, but it was fun to write, and it’s for damn sure not a lie.
Press play, put your hands up, put your feet down, let’s wipe the floor clean tonight!
Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. also has one of the most interesting remixes I’ve ever heard of “Blue Jeans” by Lana Del Rey, who is one of my favorite artists. Check it out!
